West Arnhem Land Carbon Abatement Project
- Project start: 1990s. The Walfa project was the first Indigenous savanna fire management project in Australia. Work between scientists and traditional owners in the WALFA area led to the first savanna fire management methodology. The Walfa project is a recipient of a Banksia Award (2011).
