Dr. Ingrid Barnsley is the Head of International Partnerships and Initiatives at the International Energy Agency (IEA), having also served as Special Advisor to the Executive Director among several other roles. Previously, Ingrid practiced climate change, energy and environmental law at global law firm Baker & McKenzie (Sydney, Australia) and worked for the International Institute for Sustainable Development. Currently teaching at the Graduate School of Public Policy at Tokyo University, Ingrid has also taught at the American University of Paris and San Diego Law School. Ingrid holds a Masters in International Relations and a Doctorate in International Law from Oxford University, together with Bachelors degrees in Law and in Arts from the University of New South Wales.
